This blog title is my life. I am discovering that my life will always be “in training”- and there is excitement and fulfillment in that.
For me, it is easy to feel drowned in the discipline and routine of everyday. The desire of my heart is to see the majesty of our Creator- His provision, His creativity, His purposes, and His grace- in the midst of my routine. I never got a how-to manual, so this blog is a rough draft to a lifelong manual God is writing through my family’s stories: filled with diy’s, don’ts, and better-luck-next-times.
I left television to become a Mom, start writing, event planning, and growing teams for a renowned children’s learning program and smaller, non-profit organizations. Currently, I also have been given the amazing opportunity to write for children’s ministries and magazines.
As my family grows, I find that my passion to save money, live healthier, be #datingforlife grows by leaps and bounds. I am a self- proclaimed “equal opportunity eater”. I do not limit our diets to gluten free, sugar free, or vegetable free. The Traurig rule is with each meal you have to try at least one bite. So the recipes I post are more about trying new things than any diet fad.
