Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

It is already 2009- how crazy! Well, with the New Year we decided to start a blog to post pictures and updates of our family all year round so family all around the US (and the World for that matter) could keep in touch.

February 16, 2008 we welcomed Madison Abigail Traurig into the family. Since her birth- weighing 9lb 10oz- Madi continues to do all things ‘BIG’. She has doubled the laughter in our home and tripled the smiles of family, friends, and even strangers. We have found that she has a wide array of interests included in that list are books and ‘booty’ dancing. (We will try to get a video up of her famous ‘drop it like it’s hot’ dance moves.)
Another milestone for our family was on June 10, 2008 we closed on our first house. Living in Mount Dora, Florida is amazing! We could not have picked a better place to start our family.
Adrian is now the Lead Worship Pastor at Journey Christian Church in Apopka, Florida. He also does all of the Churches graphic work. In the Fall Adrian began Journey’s first Community Music School and with the program only in it’s second semester it has already more than doubled enrollments.
Amy works part-time from home coordinating events for Gymboree and works full-time trying to keep up with Madi. She also serves at Journey teaching 3rd grade Sunday School, leading the ‘Girls Night Out’ ministry for middle school and high school girls, and as a Producer for the Media Ministry.
We consider ourselves truly blessed. In 2008, God brought us even closer as a family and blessed us with so many great new opportunities and friendships. 2009 is in His hands, and we are excited to see and be a part of whatever He might have in store this year.
Please continue to keep in touch!
Hope that you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
