DIY Pancake Syrup
This recipe is so simple you are going to wonder why you ever bought syrup in the first place.
 Brown Sugar

Optional Ingredients: 
vanilla, cinnamon, maple flavoring (for additional flavor)
1 tbsp butter

  • The exact measurements are going to depend on how much syrup you want to make. I try and keep it to 2 parts brown sugar and 1 part water.
  • Bring the water to a rolling boil
  • Add brown sugar and stir
  • Continue to boil (5 minutes-ish)  🙂
  • Remove from heat and store in the refrigerator until ready to use! (I love to store it in my older syrup containers.)
